Fabric
Probably the best purpose-built club in all of London,
Fabric is a fantastic place. The main room boasts the famous "bouncing
floor" - a soundsystem that sends bass vibrations up through the
floor. The second room often features live acts (particularly on the excellent
Fabric Live nights) but our favourite room is the little one upstairs,
where the music is usually different and the atmosphere a little more
intimate.
On the downside, the queues can be massive, it is expensive all-round,
and for some people it is just a bit too big - if you lose your mates
you've had it. We also like the water fountains in the unisex bit of the
loo's.
