Annoyingly, this has proved to be one of those gigs that's sold out before it's even been announced. So if you've already got a ticket count yourself very lucky indeed, and if anyone's got any spare, can we have one?!?
It's not surprising though that the date has sold out so quickly, as DJ Shadow gigs are about as common as his recorded output. Shadow also remains a man in demand, as so many fans have yet to experience the Endtroducing album translated to a live scenario. He did it at the Homelands festival in '99 to stunning effect and hopefully he'll do it again tonight. There should be new material too, from both the Dark Days soundtrack and also the forthcoming album.
As if that isn't a mouth-watering prospect already, support comes from the multi-talented Cut Chemist, the man behind the wheels of steel in both Jurassic Five and Ozomatli.
