After supporting Jon Spencer Blues Explosion at the Brixton Academy this week, it's back to Earth, and a more intimate venue, for what is already a highly anticipated (and sold out) show.

The YYY's, comprising Karen O (vocals), Brian Chase (Drums) and Nick Zinner (guitars), were the buzz-band of the American South By Southwest music event, a fate enjoyed last year by the White Stripes, and at the moment they're definitely the name on everyone's lips as the next next big thing.

Avant-punk is how their music is being described, although their sound is definitely more lo-fi than some of their contemporaries. New single for Witchita Recordings, Bang, doesn't even bother lumbering itself with any bass guitar.

If the reaction to their recent UK debut gig at the Metro club is anything to go by, tonight should be something pretty special.
